VFDs have a shelf life of 2 years when stored unopened in original packaging under these conditions: dry, dust-free, non-corrosive, temperature -10°C to +50°C.
Exceeding this period does not mean the product is defective. We recommend a pre-installation inspection. Check the DC-link capacitors; they may need reconditioning before energization.
